Martina Navratilova

Martina is the women's tennis analyst for TNT and CNN/Sports Illustrated's coverage of the 2001 Wimbledon Championships.
She worked on HBO's coverage of Wimbledon from 1995 through 1999.
As a professional, Martina accumulated 18 Grand Slam singles titles, 31 doubles titles and seven mixed doubles.
She has won a record 167 singles titles. In addition, she has also won 183 doubles titles.
She holds the record for consecutive doubles wins (109 with Pam Shriver).
The National Sports Review, UPI and AP all named her "Female Athlete of the Decade" (1980s).
In addition to her best-selling autobiography,
Martina, published in 1985, she has written three mystery novels -
The Total Zone,
Breaking Point and
Killer Instinct.
She is active in supporting gay rights, organizations benefiting children, AIDS research, the environment, animal welfare, and women's issues.
She is the national spokeswoman for Rainbow Card (a credit card which benefits a foundation that raises money for gay and lesbian causes).
