Michael Moriarty first came to national attention with three widely acclaimed performances in one year: Bang the Drum Slowly; The Glass Menagerie, for which he received his first Emmy® Award; and Find Your Way Home, for which he received a Tony®, Theatre World and Drama Desk Award. He received his second Emmy® and a Golden Globe® Award for his performance in the television miniseries Holocaust. For four seasons, Moriarty portrayed Assistant District Attorney Ben Stone in the critically acclaimed television series Law & Order, for which he again received Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominations for Best Actor.

His feature film work includes Courage Under Fire with Denzel Washington and Meg Ryan; Pale Rider, with Clint Eastwood; and Along Came A Spider, with Morgan Freeman.
