Eric Roberts
(Bubba Rocque )

Born on April 18, 1956 in Biloxi, Mississippi, Eric Roberts started acting on stage at the age of five and went on to study at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After making his film debut in 1978's King of the Gypsies, critics were predicting stardom for Roberts. Instead of following the tried and true path in Hollywood hunkdom, Roberts opted instead to take on dark, quirky roles. Movies like Raggedy Man, Star 80 and The Pope of Greenwich Village established his reputation as an accomplished, if slightly offbeat, actor.

Roberts has more than 60 films to his credit, but in recent years he's tended to make made-for-television and straight-to-video movies and hasn't had much of a presence on the silver screen. Hollywood loves his famously estranged sister, Julia Roberts, who started her career with a role in Eric's 1987 film Blood Red. Eric can next be heard as the voice of Mongul on the new Cartoon Network series Justice League.
