Courier will serve as a television analyst on TNT's coverage of the Wimbledon Championships for the third consecutive year.

CAREER
He retired in May 2000 after 12 years on the ATP Tour and finished with more than $13.5 million in career prize money.

He began his career at the age of 16 in 1987, and turned pro in 1988.

In 1991, he became the first American to be ranked number two since John McEnroe.

He went on to become the number-one player in the world and held that spot for 58 weeks.

His Grand Slam victories include the Australian Open in 1992 and 1993 and the French Open in 1991 and 1992. He was runner-up at Wimbledon in 1993 and the runner-up at the U.S. Open in 1991.

Since Davis Cup competition began in 1900, he is the only American to win in five sets in the fifth decisive match twice (1998 and 1999).

He played in the 1992 Summer Olympics.

In 1992, he finished number one and was named the ATP Tour Player of the Year, Florida Pro Athlete of the Year and Jim Thorpe Player of the Year in 1992.

He served as ATP Tour Charities chairman in 1996.

He currently serves as coach of the U.S. Davis Cup team.
