Uli Edel

Uli Edel has garnered several international awards and nominations for his film work. He was honored with a Montreal World Film Award for Christine F, and Last Exit to Brooklyn received both the New York and Chicago Film Critic Circle Awards. Edel's most recent theatrical film was The Little Vampire.

He has also directed several television series, including Tales from the Crypt; Twin Peaks; Homicide: Life on the Street; and Oz, as well as the telefilms Confessions of a Sorority Girl; Tyson; Rasputin, which received three Emmys and three Golden Globe Awards; and TNT's Purgatory. He most recently directed the TNT miniseries The Mists of Avalon, which received Golden Globe, Critics Choice and SAG award nominations. Next, Edel directs the TNT miniseries Julius Caesar.
