I really like to see unedited movies. I believe in the integrity of the original work. So I can't stand it when TNT cuts up movies like Raging Bull and Saturday Night Fever. Do you think you'll ever change your policies regarding the editing of theatrical films for television?
Our editing policies follow long-standing criteria of television programming that have generally been accepted by the viewing public. Even after editing, we still recieve complaints about curse words, gore and sex included in the occasional program or commercial that we air and this trend is quite likely to continue. Just remember that you can always get your movies uninterrupted and uncut by renting them at your local video store or watching them on a premium cable channel.
